To make great tasting shakes, follow the instructions below.
- Pour liquid in first. (8 oz. of skim, light soy milk, or juice). If using fruit in your shake, use 6 oz. of liquid.
- Add fruit
- Add flavorings and extracts (sugar free/fat free puddings, sugar free syrups, extracts).
- Then add 1/2 cup of ice. You may need to adjust this amount depending on the size of your ice cubes.
- Start blending. Shake should swirl, not bounce. If bouncing, add more ice.
- Once it has blended smooth and is the desired thickness; add 2 scoops of shake mix (while it's blending so powder doesn't stick to sides. Keep it blending until finishing all the ingredients).
- Add any fiber or aloe
- Add desired amount of protein. You must add protein last because if you over blend the protein, the taste will be distorted and it will get very fluffy. About 10-15 seconds will do it.
